We would like to inform all of our customers that are located in our NY DC that we are now down to 11 more hours of power.
Our diesel generators were automatically started this morning due to the power failure and we have enough fuel for approximately 11 more hours, our last engineers were moved to a safer location 2 hours ago and thus we are not able to provide any on site support.
All of our Cloud offerings will be up and running without interruption, we have moved all of the users VM's and storage to our Dallas facility, the same is true for our shared hosting services. In most cases we have kept the same IP's thus there will not be any issues, do note that the network is now different though so you may see variations in the latency.
All of our co-location customers have been notified since this morning and have acted accordingly, if for some reason you have not been contacted please call us ASAP so we can help you continue offering your services.
In the next 30 minutes all the servers in the DC that had services moved will be shutdown to preserve power, due to the generator setup we will be able to throttle down consumption and even shutdown the 2nd generator, this could eventually offer up to 8-14 more hours of power, this has not been tested before so we urge you to assume that there are only 11 more hours of power available.
Our engineers are here 24/7 for you, please don't hesitate to contact us for any query.
