Recently we enabled selectively the option for clients to choose a version of PHP other than the default provided (5.4). We are now happy to report that the setup was successful and we are now enabling the option to every client. You can select between PHP 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5. We will be enabling 5.6 soon for tests.

The php selection will be bind to the directory you select, every other directory will be using the default version.

During the new PHP deployments we made sure to optimize our current installations which should bring up to 40% boost to all php processes. Note that we are getting ready to support HHVM but this for now will be available only to clients with developer accounts.
