We will be adding Guetzli support in the Halcyon pre-release stack on 2017/03/31, after testing we found minor issues with Brotli that we will be ironing out before we release it to stable.
 
On our test images (from live websites) we found that we can get on average 6-9% smaller sizes, this  is mostly due to the compression used by Halcyon already, we are not interested for general benchmarking of the new compression method so we will be comparing only to our current one.
